Vanilla Ice Cream (no churn!)
Prep: 10 mins
Freeze: overnight
Super Easy
Don't shy away from the amount of vanillla - for best results look out for vanilla bean paste as it will make the final ice cream taste like all the premium tubs in the supermarket!
We adore this ice cream recipe - so easy you could almost make it with your eyes shut! So creamy, smooth and undeniably delicious... no stablisers, preservatives or anything weird.. try it this week you won't regret it!
Nutrition and allergy information
Best ever! Wow! So creamy, very rich. Split between 2 tubs, added chopped stem ginger and 4 tsps of the syrup to one.
Vanilla bean paste or vanilla extract
900g loaf tin or similar to store the ice cream
Step 1 of 3

Step 2 of 3
Beat the cream to soft peaks then add the condensed milk and vanilla and beat again to soft peaks.
If you're adding extra flavouring to your ice cream, now is the time to do it! We like to add cocoa powder for a delicious chocolate ice cream, or mix through berry coulis for a raspberry ripple.
Step 3 of 3
Pour the ice cream into a freezable container. Freeze until solid (about 3-4 hours or overnight).

Rated 3 out of 5 by Polymorph from Nice idea, but frustrating Almost exactly the recipe I was looking for, and it was half great! The other half was the rest of the can. Quantities are obviously always a thing, but why does the recipe ask for 200g of condensed milk when you only sell it in 397g cans? Using half the can and putting the rest in the fridge so you can throw it away in a month is the definition of waste.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Wheelchairwizard from No churn ice cream yummy I will never buy ice cream again, when you can make this in just 5 mins plus freeze time. It can be any flavour you fancy adding. But to be honest it's just great on its own. 100% kiddy friendly for the kitchen with adult supervision. I add sprinkles, choc freeze dried raspberries and strawberries, once you've tried this it will become a new family favourite.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jane7044 from Incredible ice-cream I used to spend hours making Italian ice cream, cooking it & churning it. It was very expensive and time consuming. This ice cream is even better than that! It is so easy to make and so quick it's unbelievable. It makes a large badge big enough for a family and my family absolutely love it. The best ice cream recipe I've ever found!

Rated 5 out of 5 by CarolB from Birthday Treat Made the vanilla ice cream for my Birthday tea dessert. It was absolutely delicious. I served it with sticky toffee pudding. There was plenty left over for another time which was gorgeous served with crumbled crunchie bar and chocolate buttons.
